A Pakistani philanthropist, Zain Ashraf has won the prestigious United Nations “Champions for Change” award for helping the needy people during the coronavirus pandemic. Global competition was held between the 39 participating countries, Zain also competed in it and won this prestigious award for Pakistan on its 75th Liberation Day. Zain founded “Seed Out”, a not-for-profit crowdfunding group, intending to end poverty by providing interest-free small loans to micro-entrepreneurs. Till now, Seed Out has provided interest-free loans to almost 1400 families for establishing their small startups, and around 4,000 school dropouts in resuming their education. The 28-years old, Zain Ashraf, a member of the National Youth Council of the Prime Minister, conceived this idea in 2013 and started Seed Out back in 2014. Zain was included in the list of Forbes Social Entrepreneur under 30 list and also won Commonwealth Youth Award back in 2018.

Ab tak Seed Out ne taqreban 1400 families ko apnay chhotay karobar shuru karnay ke lye aur taqreban 4000 school chhornay walon ko apni education jari rakhnay ke lye interest-free loans jari kye hain, 28 baras ke Zain Ashraf jo ke Prime Minister ki National Youth Council ke member hain ne iss idea ki bunyaad 2013 main rakhi aur 2014 main Seed Out shuru kia. Zain ko Forbes Social Entrepreneur under 30 list main shamil kia gya tha aur unhon ne 2018 main Commonwealth Youth Award bhi jeeta tha.
