Imran Khan, the prime minister of Pakistan, inaugurated the coronavirus vaccination inoculation campaign in Islamabad on Tuesday. The first batch of 500,000 doses of Chinese manufactured Sinopharm vaccine reached Islamabad on Monday. Under a global scheme for delivering treatments to the developing nations, Pakistan will receive 17 million doses of coronavirus vaccine produced by AstraZeneca. Under the COVAX scheme, 6 million doses will arrive in Pakistan by end of March, and the remainder will reach by mid-year. According to NCOC, total Coronavirus cases in Pakistan are 547,648, those who recovered are 502,537, and the death toll is 11,746.
