The government of Punjab has announced that the schools in the remaining districts of Punjab province will reopen from June 7th. This news came as a shock especially while keeping the third wave of corona pandemic in mind. Murad Raas, Provincial Education Minister, in his tweet said that in the last NCOC meeting the issue of closed Private and Public schools in the remaining districts of Punjab was discussed. Murad Raas said that from Monday 7th June 2021 the remaining districts will reopen their schools. Educational institutes will be allowed to open school four days a week with 50 % attendance. The students will be called on alternate days, making it 2 days per week per student. He urged the schools to follow corona SOPs issued by the Government. Earlier, all public and private schools were reopened from 24th May in the districts where the COVID positivity ratio was less than 5%.

Ye khabar kafi hairaan kun hai khaas tor se jab hum corona pandemic ki teesri lehar ko madd e nazar rakha jae. Subaai education minister Murad Raas ne apni tweet main kaha ke Punjab ke baqi izlaa main band private aur public schools ka maamla NCOC ki meeting main discuss hua hai. Murad Raas ne kaha ke Monday 7th June 2021 se baqi izlaa mian schools khol dye jaen ge. Educational institutes ko haftay main 4 din 50% attendance ke sath school kholnay ki ijazat ho gi. Students ko aik din chhor ke aik din bulaya jae ga, yani har student aik haftay main 2 baar school aye ga. Unhon ne schools ko kaha ke government ki taraf se jari kye gaye corona SOPs ko follow karain. Iss se pehlay un izlaa main Jahan per COVID positivity ratio 5% se kam thi wahan pe public aur private schools ko 24 May se hi khol dia gya hai.
