The third wave of COVID-19 pandemic has started in Pakistan, with some saying it is most likely to be the most threatening one. Great concern was shown by the Pakistani government, and a smart lock-down was imposed in 7 major cities of the Punjab province including Rawalpindi, and Islamabad. But on 13th March, a 3-day event was organized in Islamabad titled “Taste Test”. Taste Test consisted of a culinary and musical event that featured aspiring chefs and musicians. Mehwish Hayat was among the few who showed displeasure over this event. She urged the people and authorities to be careful and act responsibly. She was disappointed over having a live concert with so many people during the troubled times of COVID. She requested everyone to be careful and be responsible as she said “Jan hai to Jahan hai!”
