The HBL PSL season 6 2021 has come to an end. The Multan Sultans emerged as the champions of the HBL PSL for the first time. The final match was played between Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans. The toss was won by Peshawar Zalmi and they chose to bowl first. Multan Sultans were dominant during the whole match. Multan Sultans, batting first, posed a huge total of 206 for the loss of 4 wickets. Sohaib Maqsood and Rilee Rossouw were the top scorers, Sohaib scored a quick-fire 65 runs off 35 balls, whereas Rilee scored 50 of 21 balls. While chasing this massive target, Peshawar Zalmi could only score 159 for the loss of 9 wickets. Shoaib Malik with 48 runs and Kamran Akmal with 36 runs were the top scores for Peshawar Zalmi. Imran Tahir took 3 wickets while Blessing Muzarabani and Imran Khan took 2 wickets each for Multan Sultans. Multan Sultans lifted the PSL 6 trophy as the champions by defeating Peshawar Zalmi by 47 runs. Sohaib Maqsood was named the Player of the Tournament and Player of the Match for his splendid innings throughout the tournament.
