A joint Parliamentary session was held today on Wednesday 17th November 2021 in Islamabad. The Parliament approved the International Court of Justice bill (Review & Reconsideration) 2021. This bill allows the convicted Indian Spy Kulbhushan Jadhav to appeal a review against his conviction in the International Court of Justice. The Federal Law Minister Farogh Naseem presented this bill in the National Assembly. In April 2017, a Pakistani court ordered a death sentence to Kulbhushan Jadhav.
Kulbhushan was a commander of the Indian Navy. He was also a RAW operative who facilitated terrorism in Pakistan, causing innumerable deaths of innocent citizens of Pakistan. Earlier this Review and Reconsideration bill was presented in the National Assembly in June last year, but the Senate voted against this bill.
