Pakistan government announces to delay all exams till June 15

On Tuesday 27th April , the Federal Minister for Education Mr. Shafqat Mehmood held a press conference. In the press conference, it was announced that all exams will be postponed till June 15 because of the worsening Covid-19 situation in Pakistan. Exams of 9, 10, 11, and 12 were supposed to begin in late May but have been postponed further as no board exams will be held till the mid of June. Shafqat Mehmood said that the NCOC might decide to hold the exams in the third week of May. He added that O and A level exams will also be held in October or November cycle. The students who wish to take A2 exams will be facilitated though. This decision was the result of a strong call by students and their parents to canceling the exams as the number of infections has risen in the country.
