There is some good news for Muslims all over the world, and especially for Pakistanis, who wish to perform Hajj in 2021. Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, Special Assistant to PM on Religious Harmony, tweeted on Saturday that Saudi Arabia has allowed Pakistani pilgrims to perform Hajj this year. Mr. Ashrafi said that almost 60,000 pilgrims from around the world will be allowed to perform Hajj this year. Mr. Ashrafi further stated that COVID-19 vaccination has been declared compulsory for all pilgrims. The pilgrims are required to follow all the SOPs. The pilgrims will quarantine themselves for three days after reaching Saudi Arabia and before starting the hajj. Mr. Ashrafi said that the quota allotted to Pakistan is still awaited and will be shared later. Due to COVID-19, pilgrims below the age of 18 and above the age of 60 cannot perform Hajj this year.

Mr. Ashrafi ne kaha ke puri dunya se taqreeban 60,000 Hujjaj iss saal Hajj ada karain ge. Mr. Ashrafi ne ye bhi kaha ke tamaam Hujjaj ke lye COVID-19 ki vaccination karwana lazim ho ga. Hujjaj ke lye lazmi ho ga ke wo tamaam SOPs ko sakhti se follow karain. Hujjaj ke lye lazmi hai k wo Saudi Arabia pohanchnay ke baad aur Hajj shuru karnay se pehlay 3 din ke ley apnay ap ko quarantine main rakhain ge. Mr. Ashrafi ne kaha ke Pakistan ko jo quota allot hua hai abhi uss ka inzitaar hai aur wo jaisay hi allot ho ga foran se share kar dya jaye ga. COVID-19 ki waja se iss saal 18 saal se kam aur 60 saal se zada umar ke log Hajj nahi kar sakian ge.
