On Saturday, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his gratitude for the overseas Pakistanis. The reason being that the foreign exchange inflows through the Roshan Digital Account have reached the $1 billion mark. In his tweet, Prime Minister thanked Allah and the overseas Pakistanis for their overwhelming support as funds received through Roshan Digital Account have crossed 1 billion dollars. PM also praised the State Bank of Pakistan and the banking sector for their crucial role in achieving this milestone in such a short span. Roshan Digital Account is a joint initiative of the PTI government and the State Bank of Pakistan.
The banking sector of the country, including Islamic banks and Commercial banks, also collaborated in this initiative. Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated this initiative in September 2020. Roshan Digital Account initiative aims to attract millions of Pakistanis living abroad by offering them higher returns on their deposits as compared to the returns offered to them in the developed economies.

PM ne State Bank of Pakistan aur banking sector ko ye milestone itnay thoray se arsay main hasil karnay pe aur iss ke lye eham kirdaar ada karnay pe un ki koshishon ko behad saraha. Roshan Digital Accoutn PTI government aur State Bank of Pakistan ki mushtarqa koshish hai. Mulk k banking sector jiss main Islamic banks aur commercial banks dono shamil hain ne bhi iss koshish main hissa lia.
