Mr. Shah Mehmood Qureshi (Foreign Minister) announced in a press conference on Monday that Prime Minister Imran Khan will take the vote of confidence from the Parliament. This announcement was made by the Foreign Minister hours after the most shocking results of the senate elections in the Federal Capital Islamabad where Mr. Yousaf Raza Gillani defeated Mr. Hafeez Sheikh. It was a major upset for the ruling party PTI (Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf). He said it was the unanimous decision of PM Imran Khan and the party. The vote of confidence was needed to clarify who will stand wherein the Parliament.
He also accused the ECP (Election Commission of Pakistan) of failing to conduct fair and transparent senate polls as per the instructions of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Mr. Qureshi said, PTI had some reservations on the polling, and leaked video of Ali Haider confirmed them. He also added that to challenge the candidacy of Mr. GIllani, Mr. Fawad Chaudhry approached ECP but he found no one at the ECP office.

Mr. Qureshi ne ye bhi kkaha k PTI ko iss polling pe kuch reservations thin aur Ali Haider ki leaked video ne inhain confirm kar dia hai. Unhon ne ye bhi kaha k Mr. GIllani ki selection ko challenge karnay k lye Mr. Fawad Chaudhry ECP k office main bhi gae they lakin wahan per office main koi mojood hi nahi tha.
