Ramadan fasting in the summer season can be a tedious job. The heatwaves and soaring temperature in Pakistan can even cause nose bleeding and dry lips. The only remedy is to keep yourself hydrated. Here are some tips that we can use in Sehri time to avoid dehydration. We must have Sehri at least half an hour before the time of Fajar. This will give one ample time to drink water so that one can stay hydrated throughout the day. Try to drink small portions of water in Sehri and Iftaar, as drinking access water can cause Lethargy. Usually, eggs are an essential part of our Sehri diet, however, the egg yolk can make a person thirsty.
Use yogurt or Lassi in Sehri as it they have a cooling effect on our body, and have numerous nutrients benefits. Avoid eating red meat during the Sehri time because it makes a person thirsty. Don’t use tea or coffee as they increase body temperatures and can cause dehydration. Try to have healthy meals or vegetables because they are rich in watery content.
